Applying to university
We are not directly involved in university applications. Neither do we provide courses of our own.
For students in the UK, you must submit an application through UCAS.
To do this you will need to:
- register with UCAS
- decide where and what you want to study.
The deadlines and entry requirements for applying can also vary for different universities.
For international students, in some cases you can apply through UCAS. Or you may apply directly to the university.
To study in the UK, most international students will need to:
- prove that they have enough money to pay for their course
- apply for a visa to study in the UK.

The Discover Uni website provides some information on ways you might choose a course and allows you to search and compare undergraduate courses.
It also includes guides to costs, what quality and standards to expect, accommodation and support available to students.
Degree apprenticeships
Some applicants may want to consider degree apprenticeships.
A degree apprenticeship is a particular type of job, which combines work with higher-level learning, and which leads to an undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
We have published information about how they work, the benefits, how to apply and how you can find a degree apprenticeship.
