Useful links and resources for higher education providers
The sector has developed many useful reports and resources which universities and colleges may find helpful in the development of their own work in supporting disabled students.
- AGCAS: published What Happens Next in Challenging Times?
- Disabled Students Allowance: provides help for students with a learning difficulty, health problem or disability.
- The Disabled Students' Commission(DSC) was an independent and strategic group taking responsibility for advising, informing and influencing higher education providers to improve support for disabled students. The DSC produced various publications and guidance for the higher education sector.
- The Disabled Student Commitment was launched by the Disabled Students' Commission to secure an enhanced and improved experience for disabled students within higher education. Read the full report.
- Disabled Students UK is a community research organisation ran by current and formed disabled students. They have published The Access Insights 2023 Report.
- National Association of Disability Practitioners (NADP) is the professional association for disability and inclusivity practitioners in further and higher education. The NADP provide resources and publications for professionals.

This report analyses the student journey and makes recommendations for supporting access and progression.
