Student safeguarding evaluation and resources

Many of the projects funded by the student safeguarding Catalyst programme have produced valuable resources that will be of interest to the wider higher education sector.

These resources include training materials, guidance and reporting tools.

Providers may find these useful in developing their own approaches to addressing sexual misconduct, hate crime and online harassment.

Conference on protecting students from hate crime and harassment

We hosted a conference on 12 June 2019 showcasing the first two rounds of our £4.7 million student safeguarding Catalyst programme, with a particular focus on sexual harassment, online harassment and hate crime.

The conference brought together a wealth of experience and approaches from 108 projects to discuss the very positive lessons learned and to help spark new initiatives in the wider higher education sector.
