The Office for Students has today challenged all universities to eliminate the gaps in access and student success within 20 years.
Our new approach to regulating access and participation includes ambitious long-term targets to close the gaps between the most and least represented groups in entry rates to and drop-out rates at university, and the gaps between white and black students and disabled and non-disabled students in achieving top degree marks.
The new approach was covered by The Economist, THE, Wonkhe, Research Professional, The Guardian, BBC News, The Independent, The Daily Mail and TES.
