AI and data science postgraduate conversion course scholarship programme: Second interim evaluation

This is the second interim summary report of an evaluation being undertaken by the Careers, Research and Advisory Centre (CRAC) of a funded programme launched in September 2022 that delivers scholarships to students from underrepresented groups who are undertaking postgraduate conversion courses in artificial intelligence and data science. 

Commissioned by the Office for Students, the evaluation involves analysis of student and graduate outcomes data, surveys with students and graduates, and qualitative research with funded providers and other stakeholders. The second interim report focuses on the progress to date, including:

• insights into the progress of scholarship allocations
• an overview of student enrolment numbers
• the profile of current students.
