Evaluation of the National Mixed Methods Learning Gain Project (NMMLGP) and student perceptions of learning gain
The aim of the overall process of evaluation was to ‘understand the logistical requirements of administering a sector-wide learning gain questionnaire across multiple higher education providers in England’.
- Phase 1 of the evaluation produced a Survey Research Design Checklist which was used as an evidence-informed tool to gauge the effectiveness of the plans and processes to recruit students to take part in the project.
- Phase 2 of the evaluation focused on student perceptions of learning gain from student researcher-led focus groups.
