Higher Education Learning Gain Analysis (HELGA): Can administrative data be used to measure learning gain?

This publication sets out the work of the HELGA strand of the learning gain programme led by the Office for Students (OfS). HELGA aimed to assess whether or not it is possible to use administrative data to measure learning gain. This body of work explains the various avenues that have been explored and the results of these analyses.
