Release of 2019-20 Office for Students data checking tools

This letter to accountable officers gives information on the release of the Office for Students (OfS) data checking tools for 2019-20.

The tools will help providers to return accurate data to HESA and the ESFA. Data submitted to HESA or the ESFA that is signed off as correct by the accountable officer will be used by the OfS for regulatory purposes, and we regard the use of these tools as an essential element of providers’ data quality processes for these returns.
