Teaching Excellence and Student Outcomes Framework: Subject-level pilot guide

This guide explains how the second year of the Teaching Excellence and Student Outcomes Framework (TEF) subject-level pilots will be conducted, and what is being tested and evaluated in order to develop full subject-level TEF for future years of assessment. This guide also explains how participating universities and colleges, and their students, should take part, and how the pilot panels should undertake the assessments.

NB: The main subject-level pilot guide was amended on 10 December 2019, to correct errors in Table 12 and Figure 9 (formerly mislabelled as Figure 8).
