ILR and Unistats data returns seminar (Manchester)

The Office for Students (OfS) hosted two seminar days on aspects of data returns for the ILR, Unistats and TEF.

The events included sessions on:

  1. How the OfS uses ILR and key HE definitions
  2. Unistats training
  3. ILR data used in TEF Year Three

Intended audience

The sessions were designed for staff at further education and sixth form colleges, particularly those completing the data returns, those responsible for verifying the data, and senior managers looking to gain an understanding of how ILR data links to OfS funding, Unistats information and the TEF.

For the ILR and TEF returns, delegates were assumed to have a working knowledge of how to complete the data returns.

Unistats training was provided at a more introductory level, and was focused on those new to the return, or who need a refresh.
