How we regulate student outcomes

Assessment reports

This page lists the reports of assessments the OfS has completed relating to whether a provider is delivering successful continuation, completion or progression outcomes for its students.

Student outcomes assessments 2022-23

In 2024 we concluded a number of assessments for providers selected as part of the 2022-23 B3 assessment cycle. These providers had performance that was below our numerical thresholds for students’ outcomes. We assessed whether contextual factors at each provider could justify that performance.

For some providers, we concluded that their context did justify their performance and we closed our assessment without any further action.

At other providers, we found that there was an increased risk of a breach of condition B3. For some providers in this group, their context did justify performance against the numerical thresholds, while for others it did not. We have required providers to take further action through improvement notices to address any areas of increased risk.
